Love Island fans convinced of ‘fix’ as duo saved before fiery bombshell reunion

Love Island fans fear the show has been rigged be producers after the shock eviction of Marcel and Olivia instead of some of the less popular couples, saying they just want drama

Love Island fans have been left outraged that Marcel Somerville and Olivia Hawkins were unexpectedly dumped from the show, with viewers calling the decision a “fix” in order to make for more drama when an ex of one of the islanders arrives.

Fans of the ITV2 show are raging that Marcel and Olivia have been kicked off the island, and a less popular couple has stayed behind. Many have been posting sharing their upset that Ronnie Vint and Elma Pazar have been kept instead, insisting it’s a “fix” so that producers of the show will get a dramatic reunion when new bombshells Harriett Blackmore and Montel McKenzie arrive.

Harriett was previously coupled up with Ronnie in the past. Fans have fumed that Ronnie was kept instead of Marcel, and say it has been rigged so that Ronnie and Harriett can be reunited and the falling out that will follow.

The All Star edition of the show has seen many former couples being put back together, and it would come as no surprise if show bosses are hoping for fireworks when the new bombshells come in. Fans have been sharing their theories of a “fix” on the Love Island Instagram, leaving comments on the post announcing Harriett’s arrival.

One person suspected: “So it was meant to be Ronnie and Elma who were meant to get kicked out but they had to keep Ronnie for the reaction.” Another accused: “This is why the dumping was fixed tonight then! Time to stop watching now she’s back.”

“Can be the only reason Ronnie and Elma weren’t voted out tonight,” insisted one viewer. “Anyone else thinking that was kinda a fix Ronnie didn’t go now Harriet is coming in. I feel him and Elma are least compatible,” suggested another.

Despite the fury, Harriett is excited to be heading back for a second chance in the villa, as she said: “I think that my last time in the Villa was cut too short so I think I deserve a second chance, I’m looking forward to it!”

She added that she isn’t planning on starting things up again with Ronnie, and wants to see who else is out there: “I want to explore new connections… but I definitely need to have a conversation with Ronnie though, I think that’s important.”

“I don’t know how I’m going to feel when I see him, I haven’t seen him in months, we last spoke in September,” she added, but couldn’t resist having a dig at her ex, as she jabbed at him saying she wants “someone who’s mature, not a boy – I feel like I need a man now.”

Earlier this week Elma, who is couple with Ronnie, shared her fears that if Harriett arrived Ronnie would be “right back all over her.”
