EastEnders Sonia Fowler returns to expose Reiss Colwell’s deadly lies after Bianca’s bombshell | Daily Star

EastEnders spoilers see Sonia return home from prison – but she has a bombshell for Reiss

EastEnders fans have seen Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) make a triumphant return to Albert Square, having been cleared of the murder of Debbie Colwell. It was her sister Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) surprise confession that saved her skin, even though the real culprit is Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).

The murderous accountant has held Bianca hostage in a storage unit since November after she discovered his dark secret – he killed his comatose wife. When Bianca learned that pregnant Sonia was about to plead guilty, she persuaded Reiss to release her in exchange for a confession tape.

The scheme worked and Sonia walked free, but Bianca remains trapped with no sign of Reiss letting her go. However, in the upcoming episode, Sonia starts to smell a rat. Will she be able to rescue Bianca from the clutches of deranged Reiss?

Sonia knows her sister wouldn’t kill Debbie, but her betrothed Reiss is hell-bent on silencing her suspicions. Things take a turn for the worse when Sonia faces the local chatterboxes of Walford, prompting her to passionately defend Bianca, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Back at home, Reiss is on edge as Sonia plans to contact the CPS for a copy of Bianca’s ‘confession’, despite his pleas to drop it for the sake of their unborn child.

But after a chat with her uncle Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Sonia begins to suspect that Reiss isn’t telling her the whole truth.

Later in the week, Sonia takes a stand against Reiss, armed with information from Jack, but he skilfully manipulates her with a convincing explanation.

Reiss manages to make Sonia feel guilty for doubting him, so much so that when Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) later arrives to question his honesty, Sonia jumps to her fiancé’s defence.

Will Sonia uncover the truth behind Reiss’ deceit? EastEnders enthusiasts will have to stay tuned.

EastEnders airs Monday – Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and iPlayer
